The Plough, Leverstock Green

The Plough has served the citizens of Leverstock Green and beyond for as long as anyone can remember. It has adopted various guises over the years including a Schooner Inn, a Bernie Inn and a Beefeater but now we have brought it back to its roots as a traditional pub serving excellent fresh food and great beer.

Beer

A great pint is a fine thing.

We take great pride in the quality of the beer served at The Plough and we are building a great reputation for cask ale. We have been recognised in the local press and also by Cask Marque, an organisation that maintains standards in the industry nationwide.

Our regular ales are Charles Wells Bombardier and Youngs Bitter.

Food

The Plough has a great local reputation for food, we make everything fresh where we can but we also serve some good old pub favourites to give everyone something they’ll enjoy.

We have a seasonal menu which we supplement with specials on each course that we change regularly. If you have any suggestions for dishes you would like to see just let us know via the email form on the website or just grab someone’s ear while you’re here.

We like to source local food so all our fish is supplied by Weston’s of Boxmoor, and our bread from the Village bakery in Leverstock Green.

We get through plenty of wine, particularly in the restaurant, and as such we have an extensive range to suit all palettes.

Food is served between the following times:

Monday - Saturday: 12 - 2:30 and 6 - 9:30
Sunday: 12 - 9

A family meal is a wonderful thing and all children are welcome when dining with adults in the restaurant; however, we would ask you keep your little darlings with you at the table.
